From the President of the Tulsa Roustabouts

On behalf of the 2017 leaders I want to say welcome back! This year is crucial for the Roughnecks and we will be pushing them on in a way only we can. I am so grateful for the friends I’ve made and the moments we’ve had from this group.

First, join me in offering thanks to our inaugural and past president, Zach Easdon. When this all started several years ago he was the only one who stood up to lead from the front. The Roustabouts started with him and I know you’ll agree that we couldn’t be happier to have the group around! So please, the next time you see him, make it a point to thank Zach.

Moving forward we have a ton to be excited about! The team is being assembled and opening day will be here before we know it. If you haven’t had the opportunity to meet Coach David Vaudreuil, I think you’ll be happy with the hiring. I was extremely impressed with him and it won’t be shock if we see him jump into the crowd after a Roughnecks WIN! The Roustabouts board is also working on ways to enhance our membership including restructuring the pricing options and beefing up possible discounts at local establishments. Also, TAILGATES! I’m looking to enhance what is already a good experience to give the Roustabouts (and any passerby for that matter) the party they so richly desire. Additionally, soon you’ll begin to see events popping up; many informal and a few bigger events including volunteer opportunities geared toward enriching the city of Tulsa. It’s going to be an exciting year!

One last note: thank you for being a Roustabout. I sincerely hope you decide to join us again this year. This group is only as good as those who choose to be part of it…and that means YOU. Without your voice at top volume we aren’t as loud. Without your personality we aren’t as vibrant. Without your ideas we aren’t as creative. Without you…well…we aren’t us. Whether you’re returning from the past or joining for the first time, we need you!

I’m looking forward to seeing you soon in orange and blue.
COME ON YOU ROUGHNECKS!

Warm Regards,

Joshua Firor
President, Tulsa Roustabouts
